Quiet, delicate, rippling. The essence of tranquility can be found in the floating botanical islands known as lily pads, or water lilies. Admiring the way the ripples touched the tip of the lily pad and how the soft pinkish-white of the flower contrasted against the deep green, I took this photo in Madrid’s Real Jardín Botánico.
